Porém, sabemos que estes mesmos métodos estão cada vez mais próximos e muitas das técnicas de uma área esta presente em outras. Esta condição é extremamente positiva, pois estes procedimentos cambiados demonstram uma transdiciplinaridade que condiz com nosso “Espírito” contemporâneo, mas apesar de a Performance, como filha mais jovem, ter como método muitas práticas decorrentes das artes visuais, teatro e dança, ganhou estatuto de linguagem, devido as suas singularidades.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;A Performance nasce das experiências anti-arte do pós-guerra, a partir de duas manifestações contra culturais, o happening e a body-art, ambos calcados na live-art, que toma como partida a vida do próprio artista e sua transformação em objeto de arte. Dos happenings, a performance recebe as experiências extáticas e a experimentação sinestésica, e da body-art, a condição do tempo real (e não mais o ficcional) no corpo. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;O performer diminui a dicotomia cênica e admite sofrer em vida o ato artístico. Na encenação clássica, quando Romeu toma veneno, quem morre é a personagem, e não o ator. Neste exemplo, temos um alto grau de dicotomia. Aceitamos ator e personagem co-habitando o mesmo corpo em tempos diferentes, o real e o simbólico. Já na Performance, a ação é totalmente contrária. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;Por exemplo, na Performance 220V, de Cris Burden, os performers entram numa piscina e recebem diretamente uma descarga elétrica, em tempo real. No caso, Beuys está arriscando sua integridade física, o que indica um outro ponto muito importante para a caracterização da Performance: o risco. Temos aqui um primeiro elo de conexão entre Performance e atos de vida, pois os artistas estão “ao vivo” nos seus momentos de celebração, podendo passar por qualquer tipo de incidente inesperado. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;br /&gt; &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;O uso de mídias também é uma das facetas da Performance, como podemos ver no trabalho do brasileiro Otávio Donasci. Elas funcionam como catalisadoras do processo criativo do performer. Usando suas categorias, Schechner considera o preparo técnico, o laboratório e o ensaio como ritos preliminares, de separação.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;A Performance em si é a liminaridade, análoga aos ritos de transição.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;O relaxamento e o retorno são pós-liminaridade, ritos de incorporação. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;Através dessas fases, acentuadamente marcadas, as pessoas iniciadas no ritual sofrem transformações permanentemente, enquanto que nas performances, de um modo geral, as transformações são temporárias. Schechner as denomina, então, “transportações”. Para ele, como as iniciações, as performances fazem de uma pessoa, outra.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br saída para encontrarmos uma definição mais clara, pois, o fato de a pessoa estar em um momento presente e ocupando conscientemente o espaço físico, faz com que seja um ato performático.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div align="justify"&gt;Não é pautado por outra linguagem que não a própria definição do eu enquanto devir do mundo que guia o atuante, o que não impediria o performer de alcançar transformações mais duradouras, por que esta em suas mãos com qual intensidade, e com que compromisso ele
